Privacy & Data Protection

Compliant with the Zambian Data Protection Act No. 4 of 2021
Last Updated: March 10, 2026

1. Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with Section 12 of the ZDPA, Digivort Technologies processes your personal data (Name, Email, Ticket Content) based on Contractual Necessity (to provide the support you requested) and Legitimate Interest (to maintain the security of the Vortica OMS).

2. Purpose of Collection

We capture your information solely to facilitate technical support. This data is processed within the Digivort Technologies ecosystem and is never sold or shared with third-party advertisers. We strictly adhere to the principle of Data Minimization—capturing only what is essential to resolve your query.

3. Security & Transmission

Your communications are secured using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) via our alerts@digivorttechnologies.org gateway. All support logs are stored on hardened server environments with restricted access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to prevent unauthorized processing.

4. Data Subject Rights

As a data subject in Zambia, you have the following rights under the Act:

  • Right of Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may request corrections to inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete your support history after an issue is resolved.
  • Right to Object: You may object to how we process your data at any time.

5. Data Retention & Purging

Active support tickets and diagnostic logs are retained for 90 days for quality assurance. Following this period, data is either permanently deleted or fully anonymized, in compliance with Section 18 of the ZDPA.
